The two big problems with buying fresh food:
Buying the “right amount”
No matter how frequently you shop, you’re always faced with the option of buying too much or too little. Chances are, you’re not eating the bundle deal of 7 bunches of lettuce you pick up when you’re feeling green. 12 peaches in a week is too much, but you don’t want to just buy 1 either.
Keeping your fresh food fresh
Most of us don’t shop every week - and even if you did, chances are you’d end up with a lot left over. How frequently should you go? Will things keep for 1 weeks or 2? How come those apples are bad already?! - You get the point. Unless you shop every week, keeping food fresh is hard.
